Can you survive playing this game? 3/5
First off the positives : the facts presented in the game are a lot of fun, some weird and wonderful some practical and everyday. You will no doubt be left scratching your head when you thought you knew the answer but found out you're wrong (just shows how much wrong information we absorb). Other times you'll know the answer straight away "yeah I knew a tiger wouldn't attack me if I wore a mask on the back of my head, don't know where I heard it though". It's a laugh plain and simple.

The negatives: It doesn't really work as a game. I would prefer a more Trivial Pursuit format, but as it is playing with just two people is a bit dull. Get some more people involved and some alcohol and it is a giggle.

Worth a try but don't expect to be blown away.

Boring 1/5
This is a very boring game. How the previous reviewer could rate it a 5 star I do not know unless he was employed by the manufacturers! Questions are too easy and the idea of moving a footprint at a time is mind-bogglingly tedious. Give me ludo any day.

What IS the worst case scenario? 5/5
This game is an absoloute marvel. All of my mates came round the other day and we were all really bored, so I got out this game and we were laughin' so much I had to nip to the loo. It is amazingly funny and I would reccommend the whole world to buy it. So put a bit of colour in your life and buy this absoloute killer of a game.

Great fun for all the family5
Bought this for my Grandson (aged 5) for Christmas and Mum, Dad, wee sister (3), Grannie, Grandad and Great-grannie all had great fun playing.
It's a variation on pass the parcel except you get 3 lives. The kids had a great time pretending to throw to someone then throwing to someone else and even dancing round a bit before throwing, and the excited look of anticipation on their faces as they did so was as enjoyable as the game. For under £10 a great gift idea for any child or family.

What's on my head?

The classic ‘What’s on my head?’ game written especially for children. Am I a mouse, a sausage or a pencil?

Headbanz for Kids features a selection of cartoon animals, food and household items.

Each child wears a card in their specially devised headband and then has to guess ‘what’s on their head’ by asking a series of searching questions. As well as being great fun, the game - which contains prompt cards to help first time players get underway - teaches children to consider what question they need to ask in order to help them guess the answer.

Woman’s Own rated it 10/10 and called it: ‘Our favourite by far!’

Womans Magazine
"Our favorite by far 10 out of 10"

Manufacturer's Description
The hilarious "What's On My Head" game especially designed for children to play and enjoy. The object of the game is to be the first to get rid of all your counters - how? Well each child has a "Hedband" which they place round their heads, these are adjustable so they fit heads of differing sizes. They then place a card on their "Hedband" with an image on it, for example a frog. They have to guess what the image is by asking their friends questions to which the answer can only be Yes or No. For example "am I an animal?", "Am I green?" or "can you eat me?" might be good questions.

Each player can ask as many questions as they can before the timer runs out and if they guess what they are they can take another card and put it on their head. Older players can be handicapped by giving them more counters at the start of the game so the game can be played with different age groups.

The cards contain cartoon pictures of animals, food or everyday items and there are also cards with suggested questions.

Once the player has guessed their object they put their counter back in the middle andthe first one to get rid of all their counters is the winner!

Box Contains
# 72 Hedbanz Cards
# 24 counters

Good family fun for all ages5
This is good fun for a family, and can be played by quite young children with just a little guidance. An object is pictured on a card which you have to wear on your head. You establish what it is by asking other people questions. just putting the headbands on starts you laughing. Adults with a few drinks inside them find it even funnier!

Fantastic!5
This is a great game for children from about four upwards.

Sturdy plastic headbands hold picture cards (no reading required) and each child has to ask questions to guess what they are. A card might show a picture of sausages, so the child will ask "Am I furniture, can you eat me?" etc. The answers are yes or no.

It is a great game for all of the family as the adults can enjoy it equally. It really gets the kids thinking and racking their brains, you will be amazed by some of the questions.

Good fun, one little fault4
This is great fun.

However, beware of playing on a sunny day or near a bright light. The cards are not as thick as they could be and my daughter was using that to cheat outrageously. :-)

Good entertainment5
We bought this for our daughter last year. It's classic charades. There are picture cards as well as written cards so your child does not have to be able to read in order to play this. Our daughter and her friends enjoy this game. It's a reasonable price and we bought quite a few for childrens birthday presents.

Brilliant for age 6+ and parents with kids5
I bought this for my kids who are 6+ and they loved it. My wife and I have played it with them as well, and it's great fun. We've played it at family events with teenagers as well, and they enjoy it too.

There's 3 charade options on each card, you roll the dice (numbered 1-3) to select which one to do, and then you do the phrase (eg "Putting up the washing") within the time allowed by the supplied timer.

For young kids, there are picture cards included of animals and other objects, which they will find easy to do, and you'll soon see them wanting to try some of the more difficult cards as they understand how charades works.

My kids never played charades before this, and they love it now. We frequently play this, and you can control the length of the game by deciding how many rounds to play - so the game can last anything from 5mins to 30mins+ based on this approach.

good entertainment value5
we bought his for our 4y old daughter (who loves it) and we have all had great fun as a family (my 12yr old daughter too) playing this game. i have also bought this game for presents for my 4yr old to take to her friends parties - at this price it is a great gift and a bit different too.

Death By Chocolate (includes DVD) Review

Death By Chocolate
Serving up Murder, Mystery and Fun!

A DVD Murder Mystery, including a cameo appearance by Michael Winner!

Everyone's a suspect when murder is on the menu. And with a Classic Detective Murder Mystery you have everything you need to serve up the perfect murder mystery dinner party.

It's Easter Sunday 15 April 1900 and Paris is the centre of world attention as millions of visitors arrive for the opening weekend of the International Exposition. Amongst them is an elite but diverse group of individuals staying at the Hotel Paradiso. As they gather for dinner, however, the peace of the hotel is rocked by an explosion. Billy Bonka, the foremost chocolate manufacturer in America, is found dead in his room, having apparently been killed by an exploding Easter Egg. Suspicion falls on the people around this table.

Your task is to discover who that killer is. Fortunately the famous amateur detective Hercule McClue is on hand to assist your investigations.

The guests are:
'CHOCOLAT' BERTRAND - The greatest legend of the Belgian chocolate industry, he is known as much for his ruthless business practices as for his suave bonhomie.
MARCHIONESS DUCHAMP - An internationally notorious artist, whose work has scandalised two continents, and whose private life has done much the same.
MARIA VON SCHNAPPS - The young businesswoman who has just taken over as head of a long-established Swiss chocolate firm.
MIKE BISON - The rising star of American boxing, he's in Paris for the Olympic Games, where he's sure that he'll win a gold medal.
DAME BARBARA CARTHORSE - The most celebrated beauty in England, as well as a hugely popular romantic novelist.
DR DORIS JOHNSON - An amateur archaeologist specializing in the Aztec culture, she is regarded as being eccentric even in a field populated by eccentrics.
DR SIGMUND FRAUD - The controversial psychologist whose theories have won him a small band of devoted disciples and the hatred of conventional society.
LITTLE FITZ - The most sensational cabaret star of the day, he shares his ventriloquist act with his dummy Ziggy.

The game includes invitations: simply choose which of your friends play which devious suspect and invite them to come along as that character. Also included are menu suggestions, recipes and of course, a really tasty murder to solve! It will be drop-dead fun, and by the end of the evening, one (or more) of your friends will be caught out as the murderer!

Death By Chocolate5
Murder Mystery partys have become all the rage ammongst the middle classes and so I felt it my duty to hold one to celebrate my birthday.

And Death By Chocolate is a fabulous night if ever I had one! It is suitable for 6-8 characters and offers a hilarious night in. The characters in this game are brillient to act out and the costumes required for most of them isn't too difficult to get hold of, keeping the cost of the night down.

The game is quite confusing if it is the first murder mystery ever played, so it is advisable that the host of the evening makes sure they fully understand the rules and instructions so as to keep the evening running smoothly.

This murder mystery is fantastic for chocolate lovers and is an excellent fun and adventurous night in!

10/10

excellent for teenagers5
I bought this game for my daughters 16'th birthday
she played it with 7 friends and they all enjoyed it.
for simplicity's sake, pizza's were served since she wanted to run the whole evening herself.
it is hard to play an active role and sort out dinner aswell.
It was good fun according to all of them, but they all made an effort and dressed to their relevant parts.
worth the money spend!!

Could have been great....2
Could have been a great night if the dvd had worked properly... As it was, it jumped between the clues and, finally, even delivered the answer before we had a chance to discuss our suspicions! It was obviously faulty but we didn't realise this until we were in the midst of using it...
Also, the recipe for the vegetable accompaniment wasn't great. Don't do that herby sauce thing, it completely overpowers the vegetables.

Surprisingly difficult!!4
I bought this game having enjoyed playing it in school with a boy with autism who I was working with.(He loved it) It is kept at school in the maths resources so perhaps has a greater educational value than I have credited it with! Both my children, a boy and a girl, aged 4 and 7 enjoy playing with it although it is simply the most frustrating toy we have ever played with. A simple concept...to balance the 24 chairs in a tower! Sounds easy, but it isn't. I haven't looked at their website, but it says on the tin that you can send in a picture of your completed tower, so presumably it is possible! Overall a fun family game.

great game5
this game is amazing! there are so many different ways to stack. not that educational though although it involves a bit of simple physics
